Polarizing PAR Proteins - In Utero

C. elegans embryos undergoing polarization in the uterus of an adult worm.  Embryos at various stages of development can be seen.  At bottom left (arrow), an oocyte can be seen moving through the spermatheca where it is fertilized before reaching the uterus.  Polarzation, marked by the formation of a PAR-2 domain (red), occurs roughly 1 hour later.  Plasma membrane is in cyan.  Download
